Bundaberg Nurse base our service rates on the qualifications, knowledge and experience of our staff. Our added fees and charges are based on a fair representation of additional costs that help keep our private nursing business mobile.

Bundaberg Nurse Service Charges
Service Fee
Bundaberg Nurse service fees are charged according to the time our nurses spend providing support to you.
*For example:
If your private nursing service required 45 minutes, it would cost $45.00.
1 hour at $60.00.
Minimum Charges
Bundaberg Nurse implements a minimum appointment fee to the value of $30. This ensures adequate time is reserved for in-home care as well as clear and professional health care documentation.
This is the minimum charge for ALL APPOINTMENTS. (even if the appointment takes less than 30 minutes)
KM Charges
Bundaberg Nurse is a mobile nursing service that provides private nursing services in the comfort of your own home.
To cover the motor vehicle and fuel costs associated with your service, a per-kilometer charge is calculated. This minor charge is based on your distance measured in kilometers (KM’s) from the post office in Central Bundaberg or the post office in Childers. The rate of $1.00 will be charged per kilometer.
*For example:
It was 18km round trip from the central Bundaberg post office to your house and back again. You would be charged $18.
Product Fee
Bundaberg Nurse provides clients with the best quality health products recommended for use in the Australian health industry.
In the event that your nurse is required to dispense health products during your service, these products will be charged in addition to the service charge.
*For example:
If you required wound care, the cost of the wound care pack ($2.00) and dressings ($1+) will be added to the cost of the overall service.
How to pay
Methods of Payment
Cash
This method is great if you prefer to make payments in cash.
However, our staff do not carry change with them so exact cash payment will be required.
*An estimated service quote can be provided prior to appointment, to determine exact cash amount.
Eftpos
We offer a Square-pos terminal for EFTPOS payments. This payment method accepts VISA, Mastercard and most other cards. This payment method will incur an additional card charge of 2.0%.
*For example:
If your overall service fee was $38.00, your payment would be $38.00 + 0.76 (2.0%), total of $38.76.
Bank Transfer
We understand you may prefer to pay for your private nursing service via the use of direct bank transfer.
This is perfectly fine.
Direct Bank Transfer payment will be required at the end of each visit and a confirmation receipt of payment sent to your nurse is required.
HCP Funding
Bundaberg Nurse has experience providing services to clients with home care packages.
This payment method will require prior consultation with your package manager to ensure adequate funding is available to pay for your service.
If adequate funding is available, we will liaise with the package manager and send the invoice of service directly to your HCP provider.
Fee Transparency
We believe in being transparent.
Where possible, we can give an estimate in advance, of charges that apply to your service. Our reciepts are itemised for you to easily see how much you paid and why.
