Bundaberg Nurse offers convenience by providing a mobile nursing service that brings a registered nurse to your door to attend to your wound care.
Our nurses work with you, your family and other allied health professionals to develop an evidence based wound care plan to improve your wound healing outcomes and provide you with greater quality of life.
The type of wounds we are qualified to manage are: acute, traumatic, skin tears, surgical, stomas, chronic, infected, ulcers and pressure sores.
Our process:
- Assessment of the general health of your wound
- Assessment of surrounding skin and management
- General pain assessment and recomendation of management strategies
- Wound Irrigation
- Wound debridement
- Provision of suitable dressings
- Ongoing wound management planning
- GP and allied health liaison
Bundaberg Nurse can also provide you and your family with education and training to manage you wounds at home.
